Street clutter clogs up our pavements and makes it hazardous for people to get around.
Thanks to everyone who took part in our week of action. You can still write to your council today to call for clutter-free streets.

Street clutter clogs up our pavements and makes it hazardous for people to get around.
here's the recommended space needed for pedestrians:

A wheelchair user and a passer-by need 1500mm

Person with a walking aid requires 750mm

Blind person with long cane or assistance dog need 1100mm

A visually impaired person who is being guided needs 1200mm
WHAT WE MEAN BY "CLUTTER"
Here are some examples of things that, when badly-placed, can prove a needless obstacle - and the guidance on how much space ought to be provided by pavement users.
