In 2016 we started to get some clearer ideas...
We headed to the Welsh capital for World Carfree Day, where the closure of a city-centre road provided everyone with a truly liberating vision of how their streets could be.
Throughout 2016, we encouraged
in 3,500 schools to walk more.
In Edinburgh, we helped introduce car-free zones around schools at the start and end of the school day, reducing congestion and air pollution, while boosting the health and wellbeing of every child that walks.
We’re part of the Leicester Ageing Together project.
That's where we met Janet. We invited her to join our walking group. And she’s been a regular ever since.
