Let's pedestrianise Oxford Street!

The ongoing consultation on the transformation of Oxford Street is a big opportunity to claim a victory not just for walking and cycling, but for clean air across the country.

The consultation closes at the weekend, so what better way to mark National Clean Air Day than by calling for a motor-vehicle-free, low-emission Oxford Street.

Transport for London and Westminster City Council are consulting residents and visitors on the transformation - and we have made it easy for you to have your say using our simple online form.

We will also be out and about

Living Streets staff have teamed up with Global Action Plan, the day's organiser, to spread the word about reducing your own pollution, avoiding it where you can, and taking action.

Look out for us in Birmingham, Leeds, London and Manchester.

And in the meantime, visit the Clean Air Day site for FAQs, resources and to find out what is happening near you.
