Ultra Low Emissions Zone needs to go further and faster
Living Streets has responded to the Mayor of London's consultation on the implementation of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) in Central London from 8 April 2019.
We need action to reduce air pollution to within legal levels as soon as possible and the ULEZ is undoubtedly a step in the right direction. In order for it to be effective we would expect to see it coming in sooner, cover more of London and include more of the most polluting vehicles.
The consultation is open for responses until midnight on 25 June 2017.
