may is living streets' national walking month
In 2020 our annual celebration of walking will focus on the big mental health benefits that come from small steps.
How does walking help our mental health? We will hear from a wide range of people how adding 20 minutes' walking to their daily routine has helped them - and we will be encouraging the rest of Britain to follow in their footsteps.
For Walk to School Week (18-22 May) we will explore how activity can help children's mood, concentration and creativity.
Watch this space for ways you can get involved at work, at school or wherever you are!
