This is an exciting role, responsible for providing project and customer service support to the Development Department at national charity Living Streets. The department is made up of our trading arm, Living Streets Services Ltd; our institutional development team – which raises funds from statutory and charitable sources; and individual and major giving, legacies, and corporate partnerships.
The role will be perfect for a candidate who is passionate about the health and environmental benefits of walking; and looking for the opportunity to gain experience of working in a busy commercial and fundraising team for a national charity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our fundraising campaigns, such as developing web pages featuring a fundraising toolkit for the public, setting Living Streets up with Amazon Smile and JustGiving, for example, along with work data collation work in support of our new CRM. In addition, they will assist the smooth running of resource sales, primarily for our successful national Walk To School scheme.
