How Consultancy Services can help you
We offer a range of services to support you to improve opportunities for walking and the quality of public space. These include undertaking audits, reviews, project and event management. We also organise conferences and training sessions for people responsible for planning, designing, building, managing and maintaining streets and public spaces.
  • Walkability & Community Street Audits evaluate the streets and public spaces from the viewpoint of people who use them, by combining Living Streets expertise with the local community and stakeholders to identify issues and generate ideas.
  • Streetscape Decluttering Audits identify street clutter to enable local authorities to improve the streetscape by removing unnecessary clutter. As well as improving the appearance of the street this also saves money on maintenance.
  • Strategic and Design Reviews consider streets and public spaces at a strategic and scheme level from a walking perspective to inform policies, planning and investment.
  • Active Travel Audits identify improvements to encourage staff, students and visitors to walk and cycle to School, University or Work.
  • Project & Event Management expertise supports clients in turning audit recommendations into reality, including the preparation of funding packages, consultation and public events.
  • Living Streets Conferences & Training events are held across the UK and are offered as open and bespoke courses.
