- Andrew completed the challenge Lunchtime lovesOur Friday 'walks on the wild-side' strolled round the block, through woodland, heath and industrial estate when we stumbled across "Langers - best in Suffolk for burgers and bangers". So we just had to stop and test them out. - they are not wrong!
- Rich completed the challenge Beauty spottingExiting the converted railway and heading into the park
- Susan completed the challenge It's good to walkIt is too far for me to walk to work, so I do my walking at weekends and in the evenings. It is a great way to get some "me" time and the excercise makes me feel good. An added benefit is that I have lost 30lbs in 12 weeks combining it with healthy eating.
We are lucky in Staffordshire to have some beautiful areas to walk in and it has encouraged me to learn to read an ordinance survey map so that I can get off the beaten track a bit more.
There is nothing like the buzz you get coming home from a walk, tired but refreshed.
- Sarah completed the challenge Neighbourhood talesTook this photo of the laundrette in Blackburn with Solar Panels - also happened to catch a horse and carriage trotting past at the same time!!

- Valerie completed the challenge Walk to your local Co-operativeHandy to pick up some milk on my walk home from the station. Nearly bought a big one and then remembered the car was more than 2 miles away at home!
- Zoe completed the challenge It's good to walkWalking makes me feel healthier, it wakes me up before work and gives me more energy for the day ahead. Being sat down for the majority of my working day, it is nice to get out, stretch my legs and get some fresh air. I make sure that I go out for a walk at lunch times too. I plan to walk to work more often now, as I have managed this whole week, I now know I can do it, come rain or shine!

- Julie completed the challenge Neighbourhood talesI've been meaning to check out this relatively new florist in Darwen but only walked past it for the first time this morning on my big 'Walk to Work'. Thanks 'Bloom' for brightening up our town centre with your gorgeaous window display!

- Andrew completed the challenge These boots were made for walkingI am really please with my tatty old Brasher boots and Merrell walking shoes which got me 13 miles on my walk to work without blisters. Helped by the 1000 mile double-skinned socks and new Bridgedale socks. The boots got me through the woods and the shoes used for the road walking, with change of socks too which helped greatly.
Anyone else got any good tips for avoiding blisters?
