Living Streets Brighton and Hove was set up in 2002. We lobby the council to improve conditions for people in public space. We would like to see more spaces like New Road, which has become one of the favourite places for residents and visitors in Brighton and Hove. We are keen to widen our net of local members, so if you would like to become more involved, or join the branch and help create living streets in Brighton and Hove, please get in touch with the branch directly or contact national office on 020 7377 4900 or email info@livingstreets.org.uk

Stephen's response became an Editor's Choice, published in the Argus under the joint heading of Living Streets and the Transport Group of Transition B&H. As Stephen commented, "I think it's important that policy should be based on evidence. Let's have the facts, not just the same old same old..."
