Using funding secured through a Community Led Grant, work is underway to establish a Living Streets group in Tower Hamlets.

The initial commitment is to work with council staff to identify street improvements as part of the Healthy Borough Programme to encourage walking.  Potential improvements will be identified through 'Community Street Audits' and there will be some training available to lead these audits.

Let's take this opportunity to make Tower Hamlets a pleasant place to walk to shops, transport, the river, the canal, local parks and schools without street clutter and difficult street crossings.
