Help us to create Living Streets across the UK
If you share our vision to make all streets safe, attractive and enjoyable, then sign up to support our work.
Our core campaigning and lobbying work is only possible thanks to the generous contributions of individuals and grant-giving organisations. For example we have:
- Produced campaigning packs on 20mph and pavement parking, to help our local groups campaign effectively in their area.
- Successfully persuaded the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) to change guidance for physical activity in children (a key driver of local and national health practice) to recommend walking for all school journeys up to 2 miles in length. Previously, the recommended distance had been 1 mile.
- Influenced the Manual for Streets, which backs up many aspects of the Living Streets agenda when developing new residential streets.
If you love your streets as much as we do and want to help us to ensure that the voice of pedestrians is heard on both a local and national level, then join us today!
Sign up to support us with £3 per month (or at a monthly or annual amount that you can afford), and we’ll keep you informed through:
- Street Life, our quarterly printed newsletter.

- Invitations to policy seminars, report launches, training and events.
We will also help you get as involved as you would like through:
