Empowering community groups to deliver improvements to their walking environment

A community street audit

In 2011 and 2012, we are working with communities across Scotland to help them identify and implement improvements to their walking environment. Groups include health walk groups, tenants groups, activities groups for people with special needs and sheltered housing resident groups from Aberdeen, Dundee, Fife, Edinburgh, Kilmarnock and Glasgow.

Our accredited Community Street Audit approach helps the communities audit their streets, identify priorities for improvements, produce a focused report and plan/deliver those improvements with the councils.
