BackACT TravelWise Awards 2011
Living Streets was delighted to sponsor the ACT TravelWise Commuter Friendly Workplace of the Year Award, which recognises excellence in the field of travel planning and smarter choices. Winners were announced at their National Autumn Conference in Nottingham on 25 November 2011.
Chris Rushbrook, Walking Works manager at Living Streets, presented the award to this year's joint winners, Quorum Buiness Park and Lancaster University. Both employers have made big strides towards making their offices more accessible to commuters without single occupancy car use.
Two runners up for the award were also "highly commended" by the judging panel, Gateshead College, who are one of Living Streets' Campaign Partner workplaces, and Pfizer Ltd.
