Why neighbourhood heroes?

People are at the heart of thriving neighbourhoods where we all want to live, walk and play. We want to keep shops and services, and the people that work there within walking distance. The government has announced an urgent review of the Use Classes Order - the rules in England that make it possible to turn pubs into pawnbrokers without community consultation and planning permission. We are campaigning to make sure the review gives local communities more power - not less - to keep the shops and services we value close. Find out more.
