Walking Champion Workshops

These one day Living Streets Walking Champion workshops comprise a mix of presentations, interactive sessions and a facilitated walkabout.
The workshops help build a strong case for walking in order to obtain senior level buy in, whilst also equipping delegates with ideas for communicating the benefits, overcoming barriers and
encouraging behaviour change. Participants will learn about conducting street audits to enable walking as well as running events to encourage walking.

• Auditing the walking environment
• How to raise the profile of walking
• Using effective communication techniques
• Motivating and incentivising
• Running walking events
