Registration to this forum is free! We do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below. If you agree to the terms, please check the 'Agree to code of conduct' checkbox on the 'Site Registration' page.
Although the administrators and moderators of Living Streets Forum will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and Living Streets will not be held responsible for the content of any message.
The Living Streets Forum is not responsible for the content of external sites linked to from the forum.
Living Streets reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.
The Living Streets Forum reserves the right to change or alter these rules at any time.
General rules
- 1. Do not post messages or send PMs that are unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, bullying or racially offensive or otherwise violative of any laws.
- 2. Do not insult members for their opinions. While differing opinions are welcome and encouraged, please respect each other at all times.
- 3. No defamatory comments. A defamatory comment is one that is capable of damaging the reputation of a person or organisation.
- 4. Please do not post copyrighted material. This includes ALL photos and articles. If you wish to share an article or photo, please provide a link.
- 4a. For links to pictures we believe to be private i.e. not in newspaper, magazine or TV sites: no pictures with babies or children who appear to be pre-teenage and could be identified - no photos which show anyone in such a way they could be embarrassed or ashamed - and no screen captures of password protected sites like Facebook.
- 5. Please contact us [campaigners@livingstreets.org.uk] to alert us to posts which break any of the first four rules. You should not alert us to posts which you disagree with, don't like, find irritating, etc. It is only to be used in response to harassment, defamation, or copyright infringement.
- 6. Please respect the forum and its staff. If you disagree with a decision made by a staff member, contact an administrators [campaigners@livingstreets.org.uk] and please keep complaints limited to privately contacting us by email (campaigners@livingstreets.org.uk)
- 7. Please do not quote the post directly above yours. Quotes should only be used to clarify your post.
- 8. Don't quote more then a few lines of an article. Members may read the entire article at its original source, if they wish.
- 9. Keep your posts on-topic. Posts which are not relevant may be removed. Off-topic posts may be removed by administrators.
- 10. No swearing. People of all ages read and contribute to the forum.
- 11. No spamming.
- 12. No advertising, or promotion of products or services.
- 13. No inappropriate usernames (vulgar, offensive, etc).
